Snug-Bugs ™ is a European designer and manufacturer of leather slippers.  The slippers are available in a wide range of designs from fun and funky to the classic and conservative.

Snug-Bugs ™ was established in 2008 in Wagrowiec, West Poland by Anna Smykowska. Anna saw a clear lack of quality slippers in the market, and those that were of quality were also only available in extremely conservative designs. 

Anna had attended a specialised school that also provided her  a qualification as a technician in fashion.  With experience in clothes design and manufacturing, Anna was well positioned when she formed Snug-Bugs ™ to fill this market niche. 

Design

Snug-Bugs ™ commenced with the testing of a small number of designs using different methods and materials. This testing showed people loved the Snug-Bugs ™ brand and bright funky designs. It was identified that a broader selection of styles was needed. Following this and the positive feedback received, Snug-Bugs ™ moved forward with the design and manufacturing of leather slippers.

Manufacture

The slippers are fully handmade at the Snug-Bugs ™ factory in Poland, using quality European leather. Strict quality control procedures ensure the handmade finish is of a consistently high standard.

We only use the high quality off-cut leather and triple layer inner sole for comfort. The triple-layer comprises of a compressed wool felt layer for strength and flexibility. Adding softness to this is a middle sponge layer. Last is a thermal layer that adds extra softness to the slippers. The durable leather lace finishes these slippers around the edges in the highest quality.
